Questions

Everything couples ask before booking

Booking, payments and delivery

How far in advance should we book?

For a wedding in the November to February season, four to six months ahead. Dates in December go first. For a pre wedding shoot, six weeks is usually enough unless you are going to Ladakh or abroad, where we need longer for permits and flights.

What is the advance to hold a date?

Thirty percent to block the date, forty percent a week before the shoot and the balance on delivery. We hold a date on a verbal yes for seven days without any money.

Do your prices include travel and stay?

No. The prices you see are for the shoot itself. Travel, stay and local transport for the crew are billed at actuals and we tell you the number before you confirm. For most destinations in this list it works out between eight and twenty thousand.

How long until we get our photos?

Fourteen days for a pre wedding shoot, twenty one days for wedding photography and thirty days when a cinematic film is involved. A teaser reel comes much sooner, usually within forty eight hours.

Do you give us the raw files?

We deliver every usable frame, hand graded, with no watermark. We do not hand over the unedited raw files, because an ungraded frame is not our work and not what you booked.

Who actually shoots our wedding?

One of our three senior shooters, and you will know which one before you book. We do not pass a booking to a stringer. If you met someone on the call, that is who turns up.

Drones and permissions

Is a drone shoot legal at our venue?

It depends on the airspace, not the venue. India is mapped into green, yellow and red zones and we check your exact coordinates before quoting. If your venue sits in a red zone or inside airport airspace, we will tell you at the enquiry stage and refund any drone amount already paid.

Are your pilots licensed?

Yes. Every pilot who flies for us holds a valid remote pilot certificate and our aircraft are registered. Five star venues and heritage properties increasingly ask to see this at the gate.

What is the difference between the Mavic and FPV?

The Mavic is a stable camera in the sky, used for wide establishing shots and smooth movement. FPV is a racing drone flown manually for one continuous dramatic shot that dives, turns and threads through spaces. Most films use Mavic throughout and one FPV run.

Can you fly indoors or over guests?

Small indoor flights are possible in a large hall with the venue's permission. We do not fly directly over a seated crowd. There are safer ways to get the same frame and we will show you what they look like.

Pre wedding shoots

How many outfits can we change into?

Two on a one day shoot and three or four across a two day shoot. More than that and you spend the good light changing instead of shooting.

What if it rains?

We shoot anyway if it is safe, and honestly some of our best frames are wet ones. If the weather makes the day unusable we reschedule to any date in the next six months at no extra charge, and you only cover the crew's travel again.

Do you arrange outfits, hair and makeup?

Not by default, but we can book and brief a local artist at most destinations as an add-on. We will always tell you which colours and fabrics work at a location before you shop.

Can we combine two destinations?

Yes, and it often costs less than two separate trips. Jodhpur with Jaisalmer, Udaipur with Kumbhalgarh and Munnar with Alleppey are the combinations we do most.

Ask us on WhatsApp

Tell us the date and the place.

We will tell you what it costs, whether the drone can fly there, and what the light does that month. No call centre, no form that goes nowhere.
